Our HistoryIn 1990, professional civil engineers TW Lim and BS Ooi started their first consultancy engineering business in Georgetown, Penang. The name SW came about as an amalgamation of their middle names. Working together on their first housing and development project - Lone Pine Gardens, the two pursued it to completion 10 years later.
The duo finally parted ways in 2000, with TW Lim taking over the helm of SW Consultants & Associates Sdn. Bhd. Lim brought in esteemed mechanical engineer TS Lim and several other professional engineers as technical associates to his company. Moving forward 20 years since its inception, TW Lim and his associates has helped shape and guide the path of the company towards niche specialization, riding on the boom of the water and the palm oil industry worldwide. From the days of manual drafting with technical pens and drawing boards, SW today stands committed towards empowering its workforce with modern tools - staying abreast with the times. Looking forward, we plan to democratize the workplace and empower our engineers to make right decisions in record time. |
